The Firm advises clients on environmental matters, assisting them in transactions and supporting their development strategies and day-by-day business, addressing any administrative (oppositions against sanctions and orders issued by the public administration), and civil law issues (legal actions initiated by, or against, clients to seek compensation for environmental damage or due to contractual or tortious liability). Our lawyers advise clients in relation to remediation and cleaning-up of contaminated sites, running of urban redevelopment of polluted real properties, intervention on sea polluted areas and polluted sediments, management of air, acoustic and electromagnetic emissions, chemical and hazardous substances. 
In addition, the Firm supports clients in obtaining environmental authorisations, as well as on environmental damage issues, zoning, landscape/environmental, protected area obligations and restrictions. In particular, the practice group develops significant synergies with the project financing, maritime/aviation and transportation practices.
